Tab Search helps you find speech and debate competitors, teams, judges, published tournament records, and rankings while you use Tabroom. It runs only on Tabroom pages. It does not have a developer-operated account, analytics service, advertising service, or data server.
These third-party requests expose ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to the relevant service. The DebaterSearch request also includes the search terms described above. Each third party has its own privacy practices.
The panel’s Clear index action removes locally indexed result rows. Saved → Clear all cached profiles removes cached competitor, team, and judge pages. Chrome can also remove all extension data when you uninstall Tab Search.
Site reset is optional. It asks for confirmation before deleting Tabroom cookies and site storage and reloading the page; using it will sign you out of Tabroom. It checks the number of Tabroom cookies before and after deletion, but does not save their values. Searches never trigger this reset automatically.
Tab Search uses page and search data only to provide the scouting features described above. It does not sell that data, use it for advertising, or share it with the developer. It sends data to Tabroom and the listed public-data providers only as needed for the requested features. All network requests use HTTPS. No developer or employee can view your locally stored extension data.
Tab Search is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Tabroom, NPDL, DebateDrills, DebaterSearch, or the National Speech & Debate Association.
